Brief:

The mission was to create a unique nightclub with a sense of elegant and luxurious character. The client´s suggestion was to make us take some inspiration from the scenic world and spaceship films to find the right atmosphere they had in mind.

Challenges:

The early challenge was the logistic planning of the main room with two floor levels. Another challenge was to reduce focus on the low going beam dividing the ceiling. Therefore, we draw a floating ceiling below the beam with a design as an umbrella. This made the black ceiling above appears like eternal Outer space. 

Result:

The front door and the hallway makes a statement and speaks about what´s to come. Coming closer the main room a big golden dog sculpture welcomes the guests. The sculpture’s primary purpose is to prevent people falling down the stairs on the sharp side. The principal design expression of the venue is based on undulating and spheric forms.
